Sustainability

Forest management in Poland adheres to the principles of maintaining forest sustainability, promoting sustainable development, and protecting species. This commitment is underscored by the internationally recognized PEFC and FSC certifications.

Poland’s forest area spans 9.2 million hectares, with over 7.3 million hectares under state management. All of these forests are PEFC-certified, and a majority also possess FSC certification.
Deciduous tree species such as oak, birch, ash, beech, poplar, and alder are commonly found in these forests.

Wood chips and sawdust can be effectively utilized as biomass fuel, while the thermal energy generated contributes to the wood drying process.

Wood is ecological

Wood stands as one of the most versatile materials employed in interior design and architecture. It creates an unmistakable ambiance and, owing to its durability, preserves it for many years.
Wood is renowned for its exceptional sustainability, making it an ideal choice for various products. As a renewable resource, wood can be responsibly harvested and replanted, ensuring the continuous growth and availability of forests. By utilizing wood in products, we promote carbon sequestration, as trees absorb and store carbon dioxide from the atmosphere throughout their lifespan. Additionally, wood products have a lower carbon footprint compared to alternatives like steel or concrete, as wood requires less energy during the manufacturing process. Choosing wood not only supports sustainable forestry practices but also contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, making it a truly eco-friendly and sustainable material choice.
